1.2343 mold steel
1.2343 die steel belongs to electroslag remelting hot work die steel, which has uniform material and superior machinability and polishing property. It has good high toughness and high plasticity. It has excellent wear resistance and overall hardening performance at high and low temperatures.
1.2343 mold steel characteristics:
1. High heat resistance hot work die steel, 2. Excellent toughness and ductility in all directions, 3. High heat fatigue resistance and wear resistance, 4. Nitrogen application, 5. 1.2343 heat treatment:
Forging softening annealing hardening tempering
1050-850°C 820-840°C 1000-1030°C 530-680°C
Purity: according to ASTM E45 Method A, A sulfide ≤ 0.5, B oxide, C silicate and D spheroidal oxide each ≤ 1 or DIN 50602-K1 ≤ 10 or according to customer requirements.
Steel ex-factory state: soft annealing, good microstructure, hardness up to 229HB or quenching to customer requirements.
Operation status: 30-53HRC.
